For decades CAI has built up the community through three primary areas of service - home improvement, business development, and human services. Through these areas of service and our long-standing partnerships, we have supported thousands of our eastside community members.
For homes throughout the community, we provide rental collection, facilitate required inspections, and support with general repairs, ongoing maintenance, and improvements.
Homeowners come to us for the information and resources they need to meet compliance requirements, purchase their first home, and receive valuable insight into funding sources.
Tenants rely on us to advocate for their fair treatment through the rigors of housing court. We also provide program referrals and rent assistance to those that are in need.
CAI has supported our partners to meet the essential needs of the community, including provisions for food, clothing, shoes, school supplies, first aid training, and child care.
We work to bridge the digital divide by providing seniors with assistance with navigating the internet and completing tasks that require digital savvy.
Our business workshops provide present and aspiring business owners with insightful information on topics such as accounting, legality, insurance, bonding, and retirement.
We are a trusted administer for state funds designated for the renovation of the Jefferson commercial district. These programs support facade and interior improvements.
Over the years we have worked to restore the wholeness of the Delavan Grider community and through our valuable partnerships we work to preserve architectural treasures.
