UNBOSSED & UNBOUGHTBlack Chamber of Commerce of
Western NY

The BCCWNY adheres to the motto “Unbossed and Unbought.” The organization is an advocate for its constituents and provides innovative solutions to problems which confront Black owned businesses. The BCCWNY provides forums for networking, business education and the exchange of ideas and practices, all of which are invaluable to Black business owners in building successful business enterprises.

INCREASED MINORITY PARTICIPATION

BCCWNY has advocated to create and increase minority participation goals and assist in enforcing these objectives.

UNITY IN THE COMMUNITYHistorical Mission

BCCWNY was established in 1993 by a devoted group of concerned Black business men who experienced first hand unfairness and inequalities in the commercial world. Accordingly, they set about to foster change. Through their dedication, commitment, and persistence needed improvement and parity has begun to take place in our community for Black owned businesses.

The BCCWNY understands the value and importance of circulating the Black dollar multiple times within our community. As a result, we regularly support Black owned businesses by utilizing the goods and services they offer and encouraging others to do the same.

While there has been much progress in the opportunities afforded Black businesses we still find ourselves at a great disadvantage. To reverse this circumstance we need your help. By strengthening our partnerships with other community stakeholders, consistently patronizing Black owned businesses, and becoming a member of the BCCWNY, our unity, vibrancy, wealth, economic vitality, and quality of life will increase dramatically as a community.

Sponsors are acknowledged in various marketing materials of public events, seminars, and educational classes hosted by the chamber and/or on our website.
